Position Summary:

The Manager Mftg Facilities leads, plans, organizes and executes the deliverables for both, the Admin and the Manufacturing Facilities, while leading a team of primarily technicians. The Manager Mftg Facilities drives for operational results, continuous improvement and company requirements and ensures the facility is managed in a safe, compliant and environmentally sustainable manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team environment with deadlines and coordination of multiple projects within budget.
  • Manage resources within the group, planning, training, completing reviews, and providing support services as well as project responsibilities.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and motivational support to the group.
  • Deliver corrective and preventive building maintenance (priorities agreed with Site Leadership Team).
  • Drive continuous improvement to achieve excellence, eliminate waste, maximize value and minimize cost.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day and higher complex issues related to the facility.
  • Promote Safety and ensure it is the top priority within the facility.
  • Coordinate daily activities, weekly and monthly operational reviews, incl. updating relevant Key Performance Indicators and service level performance.
  • Maintain skills matrix for technicians, including identifying and filling any gaps in accordance with regular Personal Development Plan reviews and business requirements.
  • Responsible for third party contractors on site for permanent or temporary facility related work/projects.
  • Ensure all facility documentation is maintained and updated in a timely manner when changes occur.
  • Actively participate in appropriate networks, working groups and committees.
  • Keep up to date with new technical trends in the area of building and facility management and control.

Job Qualifications (Minimum Education, Experience, and Knowledge)

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in appropriate technical discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience required
  • Leadership and people development experience required
  • Must possess technical experience in facility control technologies
  • Ability to manage resources and budget requirements
  • Proven written/verbal communication, planning, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organization skills
  • Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally Power Platform
  • Ability to travel worldwide
