The team As a part of Product Engineering Services practice, we are looking for talented AWS Technical Analysts to join us to contribute to practice initiatives and keep current in the latest technology developments in the Cloud and Product Engineering space. Role Summary - The Technical Analyst will serve as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring that technical solutions align with business needs. This role involves collaborating with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Development Teams to define technical requirements, support testing, and document system functionalities. They will participate in bi-weekly Scrum Ceremonies and deliver components that are part Business Applications. The role Responsibilities Technical Skills * Data Analysis/Problem Solving: o Ability to work with development teams to provide technical / system guidance of what needs to be built. o Ability to proactively identify problems and recommend solution options and approaches. * Technical Documentation & Story Writing: o Ability to write and refine technical stories based on functional requirements (designs and technical implementation constraints) * Business Process Modeling: o Proficiency in creating models using tools like LUCID or Visio, or other BPM tools. Core Analytical Skills * Requirements Gathering: o 5+ years of expertise in eliciting, documenting, and validating technical and functional requirements. * Process & Gap Analysis: o Ability to analyze and map current processes (As-Is) and design improved processes (To-Be). o Ability to quickly ramp up on technical knowledge of NAQ platform products and architecture o Skills in identifying discrepancies between current capabilities and business needs What you'll bring o 3+ years of Experience working in Agile environments, writing user stories, and participating in Scrum ceremonies. o Experience with tools like SharePoint, Confluence, and Teams for communication and document sharing. * Collaborate with Business Analyst to translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team (Platform Teams) and documenting all features for the products (product specifications). * Create and document the specifications for new feature request in Confluence (e.g. Integration Diagram, Contracts, UX, etc.) * Assist Product Owner with defining and validating acceptance criteria for technical deliverables. * Be the main Point-of-Contact (POC) for the Application teams. * Reverse-engineer business rules and logic from legacy systems to support modernization and integration efforts. * Analyze, document, and refine technical designs, ensuring alignment with architectural standards. * Identify and document test scenarios to support user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing. * Manage all deliverables/demo to Applications and other Platform teams. * Conduct sanity/smoke testing and defect re-validation before handoff to the Product Owner. * Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to best practices. * Work closely with stakeholders to clarify, refine, and document system requirements. Communication and Collaboration * Stakeholder Management: o Strong skills in working with stakeholders at all levels to gather input and gain buy-in. o Ability to adapt communication style to translate information from scrum team to program and program executives. * Facilitation & Presentation Sills: o 5+ years of Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, and brainstorming sessions. o Ability to effectively present findings, recommendations, and reports to both technical and non-technical audiences. Soft Skills * Empathy and Active Listening: o Understanding stakeholder perspectives and building trust. * Adaptability: o Being flexible in approach and able to manage changing priorities. * Attention to Detail: o Ensuring accuracy in requirements, reports, and documentation.
