Material Handler - Weekend Days Shift

This Position reports to:

Move product in the warehouse and the production floor, either manually or using PIT equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts and lifts

Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.

Lift and move heavy items and maintain that lifting ability throughout their entire shift

Pulling inventory and moving stock and other materials to fulfill orders

Unloading product deliveries by pulling product off trucks and stocking shelves

Responsible for pulling/receiving material, storing materials, inventory control and managing of material location

Manages material counts/location in coordination with storekeeper, ensuring correct inventory

Manages receipts and issues of the raw material and manufactured components

Ensures quality operation of the process, performs quality checks and controls, including adherence to cleaning and maintenance

Must maintain pre-determined efficiency, standards and productivity rates

Prepares and maintains accurate production records and follows SOP's

Communicates respectfully with all team members.

Ensures shift change is completed and forms are filled out with accurate and appropriate information

Ability to meet the physical demands of the Material Handler role
