Position Summary:

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to support the Maintenance, Facilities, and Project Teams in managing spare parts inventory, procuring equipment and materials, and coordinating preventive maintenance activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of parts, maintaining accurate contract and CMMS data, and improving overall maintenance efficiency through effective planning and documentation. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can balance administrative accuracy with hands-on operational support to ensure equipment uptime and maintenance readiness.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Support the procurement of equipment, parts, and alternatives for obsolete items
  • Manage spare parts inventory: log, label, distribute, replenish, and reorder stock
  • Perform cycle counts and quarterly audits of inventory
  • Enter purchase requisitions and manage receiving functions
  • Coordinate stocking and re-stocking of inventory parts
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments for repair parts
  • Pick up parts as needed in response to machine breakdowns
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all third-party contracts
  • Coordinate and schedule third-party contracted services
  • Work closely with production and maintenance supervisors to schedule PMs
  • Maintain and monitor PMs through the CMMS (e.g., Fiix), ensuring timely completion
  • Assist with general housekeeping in maintenance and stockroom areas


  • Support continuous improvement efforts and respond to evolving business needs


Must-Have Qualifications



  • 1-year technical certificate, 2-year relevant associate degree, or 3+ years of relevant experience (military experience accepted)
  • Proficiency in CMMS (Fiix preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Understanding of MRO inventory processes and material flow
  • Experience in preventive maintenance scheduling and execution
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and basic prints
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate across teams



Good-to-Have Qualifications



  • Maintenance background or prior experience in a maintenance support function
  • Familiarity with sourcing solutions for obsolete parts
  • Experience in managing third-party vendor relationships
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, TPM)
  • Understanding of audit requirements and compliance in maintenance settings
  • Forklift or materials handling certification (if applicable)
