What does the Director Food Service on Premise Strategic & National Accounts do at Swire Coca-Cola?

The Director of Food Service on Premise Strategic & National Accounts at Swire Coca-Cola is responsible for leading strategy, key relationships, negotiations, and national accounts. This role involves managing Sr. Account Executives and National Account Executives who work with North America Operating Unit and top customers, including professional sports teams and major colleges and universities. The director must have strong negotiating skills, the ability to build solid relationships, and provide clear direction on strategic plans. They drive new account acquisitions, manage and retain existing customers, grow FSOP LMP and bottle/can volume/revenue/DNGP in each division, and maintain high-value target lists. The director also handles volume and revenue forecasting, develops weekly routines, communicates with leadership, executes corporate initiatives, trains the field sales team, and improves operational efficiencies in Retail Vending.

Responsibilities:



  • Lead partnership negotiations (new business and renewals)
  • Lead, coach and mentor Account Executives to exceed revenue targets
  • Maintain and cultivate high level relationships with strategic partners
  • Collaborate with North America Operating Unit personnel to strategically drive customer relationships
  • Understand and benchmark marketplace dynamics to leverage insights to action
  • Effectively collaborate with Swire CEO, CFO, CSO, VP/GM FSOP and legal team on approvals as dictated by chart of authority
  • Conduct Collaborate Business Planning sessions with strategic customers



Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
  • Food Service on Premise sales experience required
  • 8+ years' Customer facing sales experience required


  • 6+ years' Strategic asset (pro sports, colleges and other major customers) customer leadership and stewardship required
  • 6+ years' Experience with customer negotiations required
  • 6+ years' Managing Sales Teams required
  • Strong knowledge of the Food Service on Premise profit analysis
