Overview
The mission of Helio Health, Inc. is: To promote recovery from the effects of substance use and mental health disorders and other health issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, Inc., the Director of Clinical Services will develop collaborative relationships among all of Helio Health's programs and services to offer clinical operations support. This brand new opportunity is unique and allows for identification and implementation of best practices, program development, staff development and overall quality assurance. The Director of Clinical services will travel throughout Helio Health's network of programs and services located throughout Upstate, NY. Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for a Sign-On Incentive up to $8,000 depending upon licensure! Working Relationships
Reports to the Chief Clinical Officer and keeps them informed of quality, trends, evidence-based practices and training needs of clinical and direct care staff.
- Collaborates with Continuous Quality Improvement, Compliance and Training Institute teams to provide staff with clinical resources and trainings.
- Works collaboratively with Helio Health leadership staff to assure Helio Health, Inc. culture is in line with treatment philosophy, mission and strategic plan.
- Maintain professional relationships with governing authorities, licensing bodies and community partners.
Responsibilities
- Review clinical protocols and collaborate with clinicians.
- Knowledge of key performance indicators used within our programs to include, but are not limited to: Meaningful Use Measures; Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC); National Outcome Measures (NOMs)
- Recommends and assists in the facilitation of clinical procedures and standards for Helio Health.
- Identifies opportunities for clinical training across the organization.
- Development and implementation of clinical interventions across the spectrum of Helio programs
- Recommends evidence-based practices that will accelerate Helio Health mission.
- Monitors the use and fidelity of evidence-based practices across the organization.
- Assists in monitoring clinical policies, programs, procedures, standards and practices to keep management informed of progress or when change is required.
- Collaboration with program leadership to achieve clinical and program outcomes.
- Participate in and/or lead new initiatives/special projects as assigned.
- Participates in the development and maintenance of Helio Health policies and procedures as they pertain to the role.
- Ensure training programs address employee and Helio Health needs.
- Collaboration with other support departments to meet the needs across the continuum of care
- Participate in agency leadership initiatives.
- Working knowledge of NYS guiding regulations, NYS scope of practice, and the NYS Office of Professions surrounding behavioral health licensing.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master's degree or equivalent in clinical, or a related field, with New York State Licensure. (LMSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCAT, LCSW)
- Five years' supervisory or project management experience in a behavioral health setting
- Must possess a valid NYS driver's license.
- High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
- Generalist background with broad knowledge of clinical services, quality assurance, compliance and training, as well as community outreach needs of Helio Health.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Must be able to conduct investigative reviews.
- Must be able to communicate the culture of Helio Health, Inc. to educate and reinforce its adoption and protection.
