Overview

Undergraduate Summer Research Assistant needed to assist with research in quantum computing.



Responsibilities

Develop and implement methodologies and simulations to assist with quantum transport and quantum search via quantum walks.



Qualifications

Education: Undergraduate major in mathematics, physics and/or computer science.

Minimal Qualifications: Background courses in linear algebra, computer programming, and modern physics.

Preferred Qualifications: Background courses in linear and abstract algebra, mathematical-oriented programming, and quantum mechanics.

Experience:
Minimal Experience: Programming skills (python and/or similar languages), familiarity with mathematical formatting software (such as TeX).



Essential Skills

Programming and simulation skills along with some prior research experience.
