Tech Lead

JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent is responsible for leveraging expertise across multiple areas for the design, development, and implementation of technical products and systems, and is recognized as a technical leader and resource.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Collaborate with Software Architects to determine application architecture and design direction to meet business goals.

2. Provide technical leadership to Programmer Analysts in a variety of duties including data design, coding, test, technical design, development, and troubleshooting.

3. Serve as lead developer for one of the Company's systems; e.g., eRepricer, eProvider, MP3.

4. Perform ongoing system development and maintenance.

5. Recommend enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures.

6. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.

7. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.

8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

9. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

The incumbent works under general supervision and relies on independent judgment and experience to complete job responsibilities. The incumbent acts as a resource for Programmer Analysts and must be able to demonstrate leadership skills. Work is varied and complex.
