Apply Keck Medicine of USC Hospital Arcadia, California POSITION SUMMARY Minimum of one year in acute hospital base experience. Under the supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Physician, prepares, calibrates, logs, and administers radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures. Operates Gamma Camera imaging equipment, computers, and other isotope sensitive equipment to obtain a visual representation or measurement or isotope concentration in specific body areas/organs. Applies good interpersonal and communication processes utilizing verbal and non-verbal skills. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Requirements: Education Minimum (Required)Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology with National Certification from NMTCB or ARRT. Work Experience Minimum (Required)Minimum of one year experience in an acute care setting required. Licenses and Certifications Minimum (Required) *ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine required. *Current California Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist *Must successfully complete and maintain BLS certification. Pay Transparency The hourly rate range for this position is $52.58- $70.68.
