Social Sales Manager

The Brewhouse Inn & Suites in Milwaukee is looking for a full-time Sales Manager who is committed to providing first class service as part of a collaborative team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving SMERF group and event sales for The Brewhouse Inn and Suites. You will actively prospect, negotiate, and secure group business to meet and exceed revenue goals. This role requires exceptional sales and communication skills, a strong network within the hospitality industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

As a Sales Manager on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which may include:


  • Respond to inquiries and requests for proposals (RFPs) in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate rates and finalize contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
  • Ensure all group bookings are entered in the CRM and PMS systems.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales to ensure group revenue and occupancy goals are being met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and establish a network of industry contacts.
  • Actively prospect for new group business through various channels, including, but not limited to lead platforms, cold-calling, and networking events.
  • Conduct regular client visits, sales presentations, and site inspections to showcase the property's capabilities and amenities.
  • Work closely with the events team to ensure a smooth handover and coordination of bookings.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of events, including pre-event planning, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing and resolving client concerns or issues.
  • Provide weekly sales reports to the management team.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings, resume meetings and BEO meetings.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify sales opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand professional knowledge.


This position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:


  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Sale experience in a hotel of similar level preferred.
  • Knowledge of travel industry, current market trends and economic factors.
  • Experience using a CRM and PMS system is preferred
  • Positive, team focused, guest service centered, leadership attitude.
