Requirements



  • 6+ months of experience working in a medical environment
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred



Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities



  • Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Direct patients to their exam rooms.
  • Update medical history on patient charts.
  • Assist in preparing the patient for the visit.
  • Stock and prepare all exam rooms.
  • Accurately document the visit by scribing what the physician says.
  • Assist the physician with any clean/sterile technique procedures.
  • Call patients to give medical results.
  • Schedule referrals.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
