Norris is seeking an organized and energetic individual to join our Residential Treatment team as Group Care Program Manager at our West Bend campus! This is an exciting position that offers a variety of opportunities to make a difference in the life of our youth!
Under the supervision of the Director of Group Care, the Group Care Program Manager (GCPM) is responsible for the overall day-to-day activities and operations of River Bend Place (RBP), including in community settings. The GCPM coordinates the admissions process for all program referrals to include residential and shelter care services. The GCPM expedites placements, maintains the integrity of Norris by maintaining positive working relationships with Norris employees and external partners. The GCPM communicates with families to ensure their involvement in and comfort with the identified program and placement process. The GCPM maintains timely and accurate documentation of all referrals received. The GCPM directly supervises the Milieu Supervisor, the Clinical Supervisor and the Overnight Supervisor. With the support and supervision of the GCPM, all leaders work collaboratively to ensure an integrated system of care that provides a safe, structured and intensive therapeutic environment where youth and families can focus on building the skills and resilience that will allow youth to transition back into the community as soon as possible. The GCPM has primary Leader on Duty (LOD) and medication administration responsibilities on a routine basis.
The GCPM ensures sensitivity to the ethnic and cultural diversity of youths, families, and employees while effectively communicating and promoting the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of Norris. The GCPM position requires the individual to work a flexible schedule that is subject to change to meet the program's evolving needs at any time, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
