MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Must have a valid driver's license.
2. HVAC Technician License

EXPERIENCE:

1. Five (5) years' experience with refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling controls, and air quality standard/regulations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High School education or equivalent

1. Ability to be scheduled for work based on operational HVAC needs of the department and facility.
2. Responsible for environmental conditions of the air quality, temperatures affects the health and wellbeing of patients, visitors, and employees.
3. May supervise tasks of other facility workers by allocation and coordinating workflow, training, and advising in more complex phases of assignments.
4. Provides preventive maintenance and repair work throughout the hospital on HVAC systems.
5. Has access to, and is responsible for, performing assigned duties in locked medication rooms. This position is aware that they are not responsible for medications, and they should report any unsecured medications to a licensed professional.

1. Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, pushing, and pulling.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

3. Ability to organize and prioritize time and tasks to achieve a well-coordinated work effort and to effectively meet work schedules including an ability to integrate multiple factors which may have an impact on patient care.
