Purpose of Position:

Lead the US Bulk business in its growth plans by advising and partnering with the commercial team and Executive Leadership to generate, analyze and present key financial data that will drive and be utilized in strategic decision making.

Principal Responsibilities



  • Participate in the overall development of the US Bulk business strategy and assist in the implementation of this vision to deliver results. Give direction and guidance to Executive Leadership, Commercial, Business Development and all reporting areas to ensure P&L for each area will deliver against the strategic and tactical goals of the business.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of the US Bulk business to work within a data driven environment to assist the teams as they prepare growth strategy and customer contract negotiations.
  • Closely align with business FICO partners to provide the business guidance on key financial data supplied by FICO and make recommendations to the US Bulk leadership.
  • Partner with sales performance to assist with driving growth.
  • Utilize expertise of the sales cycle to work with the Commercial and Business Development teams to assist in managing from Opportunity to New Business cycles delivering results via informed tracking and contributing to signing new business.
  • Assist in the management of all sales tools used by US Bulk to help the business achieve growth targets.
  • Ensure that internal procurement policies are adhered to and that the US Bulk supply chain is maintained consistently.
  • Accountable to work with internal stakeholders to ensure that the implementation of business agreements are linked into the supply chain and consistent with corporate policies.
  • Support sales reporting and tracking system options/proposals to ensure effectiveness for US Bulk BD and account managers.
  • Assist the US Bulk leadership in the creation of all documentation needed for Investment Committee presentations.
  • Manage achievement of key business KPIs and provide guidance to ensure the US Bulk business remains on course to meet / exceed targets.
  • Align and work with the US Bulk team on budgets and forecasts as required by the business.
  • Own business/operations side of annual budget process for sales, expenses, capex (minor, major, relief, etc.), others, in partnership with Finance.
  • Tracking capex and P&L budget, SG&A, identify risks to the business and present recommendations to senior leadership to mitigate.
  • Extract, manage, analyze, and present data ready for decision-making by executives and leadership at all levels and areas of Messer.
  • Improve current reports; develop and maintain adequate KPIs to drive decisions.
  • Offering users appropriate support and advice on different business tools.
  • Prepare and deliver briefing and training sessions for Messer users.
  • Analyze and support improvements to guarantee harmonization among systems (i.e. invoicing).
  • Incorporate commercial processes into business decision making systems, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree (preferably in Business or related field)
  • 10+ years-experience in business control, finance, or sales management and marketing
