Job Description This role is the face of AFB International day to day business operations at our manufacturing facility in Aurora, Mo., and performs a broad range of diverse administrative duties. This position performs office administration duties for the Aurora location and acts as backfill to the executive admin team with high-level exposure to sensitive information and interacts with all individuals throughout the global organization. This position provides procurement support to the site in the form of purchasing indirect materials and supplies. This role is responsible for successful management of services and accounts related to vendor relationships (janitorial, vending, uniform, etc.). All duties are performed in a professional environment of open communication. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Indirect Material and Services Purchasing
- Purchase indirect materials and supplies needed for successful business operations, in accordance with company procurement policies and procedures, for the Aurora location.
- Manage day to day needs of facility service providers (i.e. janitorial, uniform, etc.) for the Aurora location.
- Communicate with suppliers and service providers on new purchase orders and status of delivery on open purchase orders. Work with suppliers and service provides to resolve any quantity or invoice discrepancies for products or services.
- Assist and promote communication and successful working relationships with other functional areas within the organization and suppliers and service providers.
- Upload COI (Certificates of Insurances) for raw material in quality management software and work with suppliers to keep all COIs up to date as required.
Office Administrator / Receptionist
- Answer incoming calls to main AFB line
- Ensure packages are delivered or picked up in the receptionist office
- Ensure general cleanliness of lobby, coffee bar, conference rooms, and kitchen areas
- Print out calendar sheets for all conference rooms daily
- Maintain employee and visitor sign in sheets
- Maintain phone and emergency contact lists
- Update First Aid Cross
- Assist HR with onboarding new employees by giving building tours and providing day 1 gifts
- Manage employee badges
- Works with all departments at St. Charles, Parc, O'Fallon and Aurora to prepare documents to be sent to offsite storage
- Maintains building keys
- Maintains licensing, insurance, and servicing of AFB company vehicles
- Maintains approved driver list for use of company vehicles
- Serve as an active member of all project or cross-functional teams assigned, providing new ideas and building on the suggestions of other team members.

This position will not have direct reports. Qualifications Required: Associate's degree or equivalent; or two or more years related experience, or 2-5 years equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Have experience using Word, Excel and Power Point
- Demonstrated exceptional team building skills
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
