Senior Technical Delivery Manager

The Content Transformation Program is building the Data Platform of the future for LSEG, redefining the manner in which source and acquire, and master content. All the while, transforming to a best in class cloud based environment, enhancing and extending capabilities, whilst modernizing the underlying infrastructure.

In this role you will define, scope, and lead large, sophisticated programs across technology and the business while working with senior management to ensure business objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities

  • Technology delivery - lead the delivery across all technology teams throughout the end to end delivery chain. Ensuring full engagement of relevant architects to provide solution design and overall architecture alignment
  • Planning - Accountable for all technology planning activities, including ensuring scrum teams have balanced sprint plans with reasonable backlog, preparation and delivery of the quarterly planning activities. Work closely with partners to ensure technology plans are accurately reflected in overall plans and roadmaps
  • Dependency management - Ensures all impacts of dependencies are addressed in the overall project plan. Effectively work across the organization aligning teams are aligned to project plans and schedules
  • Risk and Issue Management - Ability to proactively lead risk and issues for the workstream and are empowered make decisions to mitigate or resolve when required.
  • Management & Leadership - Collaborate with all members of the delivery team. Ensuring that solutions are efficient & of high quality.
  • Team performance - Work in partnership with fellow technology and bushiness colleagues. see opportunities to optimize to improve timeliness, efficiency and quality, throughout the delivery cycle.
  • Problem solving and decision making - good judgment using influencing skills to ensure items are discussed and decisions made and agreed in a timely manner
  • Governance - Handle any workstream technology team governance and adhere to the overall programme governance to ensure all collaborators and team members are aligned and effective in delivery
  • Reporting - Provide regular and accurate reporting to a cross partner community, using data to advise on progress or improvement opportunities.
  • Communication - Work collaboratively with the Project management office & Content & Feeds portfolio.
  • Financial Management and Project Accounting - Monitor and track financial health, analysing resource requirements across multiple projects or across programmes to and associated funding envelopes
  • Growth & Innovation - Not be afraid to challenge, and try new techniques or methodologies for delivery.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of prior complex project management experience, preferably working on technical and/or engineering projects in a matrix environment
  • Can Identify dependencies and risks
  • Can lead issue resolution and solve complex problems across teams
  • Prior experience managing relationships with wide stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5+ years of related experience
  • PMP certification and Agile Methodology preferred
