A Day in the Life:

Perform general laborer duties to maintain clean plant area. Provide routine lubrication and maintenance of plant equipment. Additionally, this role is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system, and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.

Position Details:

Rotating day/night, 12 hour shifts

Overtime, call out availability, weekends/holidays, and an on-call rotation are required.

Pay rate: $23.70 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

• Shovel and sweep product to maintain clean plant area.
• Operate hand tools, forklift, bobcat, backhoe and other mobile equipment.
• Climb steps/ladders, work in high places and confined spaces.
• Work outdoors and in all types of weather.
• Provide routine lubrication and maintenance of plant equipment.
• Work safely and communicate effectively.
• Must be willing to train to advance into different job classifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred
• Mechanical background with prior experience in a plant or similar environment helpful.
• Related experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a high level of dedication to safety.
• Work in a primarily in a non-climate-controlled environment.
