Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Community Partnerships & Giving, the Digital & Community Giving Manager plays a key role in expanding the Prisma Health-Upstate Foundation's impact and visibility in the Upstate by developing, managing, and executing digital engagement assets and spearheading new digital and community giving initiatives.

Accountabilities

Digital Engagement: 35%

  • Create, execute, and manage digital media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Give Smart and others) for the Prisma Health-Upstate Foundation, focusing on special events, community partners, and other selected Foundation priorities. Respond to social media inquiries, coordinating with Prisma Health Marketing & Communications as needed.

  • Develop and update rotating content on Prisma Health-Upstate Foundation website.

  • Ensure that Foundation engagement and social media presence aligns with strategic priorities and initiatives, working to enhance the philanthropic community's positive relationship with Prisma Health-Upstate and maximizing the funds raised and received.

Event Marketing Coordination: 35%

  • Partner with the Foundation Events Manager for marketing of Prisma Health-Upstate Foundation events including social media, landing pages, printed and digital collateral, content creation, and e-communications.

  • Partner with Foundation team members as needed for check presentations, hospital tours and other opportunities for the purpose of expanded publicity and donor/partner stewardship.

  • Partner with the Foundation team members to provide board members and other high-level volunteers with social media support and other collateral as needed for their engagement and outreach activities.

Foundation Program and Giving Support: 30%

  • In collaboration with the Foundation Executive Director and Upstate hospital CEOs, create, execute, and manage the annual employee giving campaign in the Upstate. Recruit Ambassadors/Committees, develop kickoff events, recruit and manage relationships with annual sponsor(s) and coordinate communications.

  • Assist Manager, Community Partnerships & Giving with growth of community partnerships to benefit our Upstate hospitals. Create presentations and coordinate logistics for presentations to community groups and businesses.

  • Support departments across Prisma Health in selected fundraising initiatives. Create digital tools including customized web pages, QR codes, and other assets.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 4 years - Philanthropy, non-profit, digital communications/media, marketing or a related field.

In Lieu Of

In Lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, the following combination of education, training and/or experience will be considered an equivalent substitution: Associate degree and 6 years of experience in philanthropy, non-profit, digital communications/media, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

  • Demonstrated communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated skills in digital communications.

  • Event planning and execution experience.

  • Passion for and commitment to philanthropy.

  • Competency in using the Microsoft Office suite of programs and a relational database.

  • Ability to handle confidential information in appropriate manner.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with a wide range of constituents.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines.

  • Resourcefulness, flexibility, and tenacity to meet individual and team goals.

  • Ability to work effectively in a large, complex, and dynamic organization and adapt to change.
