Job Description

The Sales Engineer Supervisor - Automotive is responsible for leading technical support, marketing, and sales initiatives within the automotive sector, while also managing select territory sales activities. This individual will serve as a key technical resource, supporting customer relationships and internal teams. Responsibilities include reviewing customer material specifications, supporting material qualification processes, and contributing to the successful commercialization of automotive products. In addition to supervising team members, this role will play a critical part in aligning product capabilities with customer needs through strategic technical engagement and targeted territory sales efforts. A background in application engineering and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in technical sales, application engineering, or customer support, preferably in the steel or automotive industry
• Experience in Sales Engineering and Sales
• Proficiency in Technical Support and Customer Service
• Strong Communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
