Overview

Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

This position will be located at NASA's White Sands Test Facility.

Responsibilities

    The HR Training Intern will support the Test, Evaluation, and Support Team 3 (TEST3) contract through data gathering and analysis and/or providing administrative support.
  • Support and organize new hire training materials and assist with training class scheduling.
  • Work with the Training Specialist and HR Coordinator to contribute ideas, offer insights, and collaborate on tasks or projects.
  • Review and update course syllabi and training materials.
  • Track overdue training and analyze and summarize training survey results.
  • Possess efficient problem-solving skills along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Has the ability to prepare reports, presentations, or documentation based on their assigned projects or tasks.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills are essential.


Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a BS or higher in a Business Administrative field.
  • Strong interest in human resources, learning and development, talent management, or related fields.
  • Computer software knowledge Microsoft Tools (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems is a plus
