Job title: Senior UX Designer

Job Location: Irving, TX

Duration: Fulltime with Cognizant

Responsibilities:

* Work seamlessly with the Visual Design department to develop and maintain signature aesthetics, standards and brand integrity

* Work with the User Experience Architect or Project/Creative Lead to sketch and iterate on new and complex user experience interaction

* Identify and evaluate potential opportunities to improve existing web, apps, mobile and interactive designs

* Work with junior designers on the team to monitor and ensure development of consistent user experience across all areas of the website

* Own overall end-to-end user experience - from the big picture (owning the overall user experience and consistency across an entire product) down to specifics of UI layout for a feature or service flow

* Create wireframes, storyboards, walkthroughs and paper prototypes to communicate your design to the rest of the team

* Develop detailed wireframes, user flows, mockups, and other product deliverables to effectively communicate designs and product requirements

* Envision and develop intuitive, scalable, and engaging interactions and experience designs for multiple platforms (web and mobile)

* Work with our in-house User Research department to test features and incorporate user feedback into design iterations

* Communicate designs - Create meaningful UX deliverables such as sketching, storyboards, sitemaps, wireframes, flowcharts, prototypes, presentations that help the team understand what to build and why

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of relevant experience in software UI design

* Experience shipping high-quality consumer or enterprise products a plus

* A portfolio demonstrating visual/interaction design skills

* Able to plan and execute usability research using a variety of research methods and techniques

* Knowledge of web applications and mobile applications UX design standards and best practices

* Lead on all facets of UX process from concept generation to quality assurance

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
