Full Time Position: up to $25/hr. based on experience
Schedule: M-F 4:15pm -1:00am
Possible mandatory overtime until 3am and occasional Saturdays. Must also be able to work days as needed.

Essential Functions:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:
- Regular, reliable attendance is required as work cannot be performed remotely.
- Repair and maintain building, conveyor, automated sorting, and other mechanical systems within the facility.
- Perform preventative maintenance and rebuild conveyors and related equipment.
- Maintain building equipment such as lighting, plumbing and related equipment.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for maintenance duties.
- Maintain Maintenance area in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
- Maintain and repair IT equipment as required.
- Must complete all tasks assigned by manager in a timely manner. Must report any delays or issues to manager immediately.
- Must respond timely to all requests from the floor noting any delays or issues.
- Must be able to follow safety rules for personal protection and the protection of others, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform assigned tasks and report to your manager reasoning for not completing the tasks assigned.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.
Qualifications:
- Conveyor operation and repair training or experience preferred but not required.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude is a must
- Six (6) months or more related experience (preferred but not required).
- Basic knowledge of conveyors, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, motor control, and systems data cabling is needed.
- Must be able to operate a Scissors Lift and work at heights after on the job completion.
- Must successfully complete six weeks of On the Job the Training.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision after completion of on-the-job training.
- Must be able to work all shifts and overtime as required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

- Must be able to stand up to 8-10 hours in a day.
- Must be able to walk for up to 8 hours per day.
- Will continuously reach up and out.
- Will occasionally climb.
- Will regularly push/pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Will occasionally have repetitive foot movement.
- Will frequently have repetitive hand/arm movements for simple reaching, simple and firm grasping and/or fine hand manipulation.
- Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to wear protective equipment.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and speak effectively to managers and employees.
Mathematical Skills:
- Must be proficient in mathematics
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical interference and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to solve practical problems and follow instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- The work performed is in a distribution center environment
- The employee is frequently exposed to vibrations and dust, and will be working around moving machinery
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Work in a heat and air-controlled distribution center.
