Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints. Position Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides comprehensive health care for pre, and post organ transplant patients as determined by scope of practice guidelines and specialty. This includes completion of a health assessment, determining diagnosis, planning and prescribing treatment within the parameters of medical staff privileges at UI Health and area of expertise. The APP participates in the educational experiences of nursing students, medical students, residents and other health care disciplines An APP is a registered APRN or PA-C and holds a master's or doctoral degree. The APP functions as part of the multidisciplinary health team in accordance with privileges approved by the credentialing committee to provide high-quality, cost-effective advanced care to patients within the APP's scope of practice. The APP is required to have and maintain a faculty appointment to receive clinical privileges to practice at the University of Illinois Health System. Duties & Responsibilities
