Responsibilities

As the Residential Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our assigned campus or residence, ensuring that our Newport program runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. You will lead a team of Residential Supervisors, innovate operational systems, and ensure that our values and standards are upheld at all times. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor Residential Supervisors, providing weekly feedback, coaching, and training to foster a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate: Act as a vital liaison to the clinical team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration for individualized resident care.
  • Uphold Standards: Ensure all Newport Healthcare values and standards are followed, creating a safe and supportive environment for our residents.
  • Communicate Effectively: Share updates and plans during daily Flash meetings, keeping everyone informed and engaged.
  • Ensure Safety: Utilize reports and observations to uphold safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of all residents.
  • Manage Operations: Oversee staffing schedules, handle scheduling issues, approve payroll, manage PTO, and conduct performance evaluations for Residential Supervisors.
  • Train & Develop: Present at new hire orientations, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support and resources for all staff.
  • Recruit Talent: Collaborate with HR to interview and select new employees, ensuring we bring in the best talent to support our mission.
  • Crisis Management: Work the floor to manage escalation and crisis situations, providing hands-on support when needed.
  • Resident Intake: Oversee all new resident intake and consents, ensuring a smooth transition for new clients.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human services, counseling, psychology, or social work preferred, or working towards the same. State-approved credentials are also acceptable.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with adolescents/young adults and families with co-occurring disorders. Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or management role preferred.
  • Age Requirement: Minimum age of 21 years old as a requirement for employment.
  • Clearances: Health screening, TB clearance, valid CPR certification, and criminal record clearance are required prior to employment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to upholding our values and creating a positive environment.

Compensation for this role ranges from $67,000 -$75,000 depending on education and experience.

We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
