ABOUT THE JOB:

The Strategic Account Representative maintains and expands relationships with strategically important large customers. Assigned to 15 to 20 named customers, the Strategic Account Representative is responsible for achieving quota with a book of business and assigned strategic account objectives. Primary responsibility is for accounts that are based within his or her region.***This position can be remote***

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Principal Responsibilities:



  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customersexpectations.
  • Develop list of key contacts by customer and implement sales strategy with others in the customersorganization to win business.
  • Cultivate and nurture existing Strategic Account customers base (retailers, property management, facility maintenance companies, industrial customers, and large contractors) in order to gain a higher proportion of their entire spend and wallet share.
  • Communicates frequently with assigned targets for profitable rental volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, rental targets, and critical milestones for a quarterly period.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Achieves assigned rental quota for book of business within designated strategic accounts.
  • Meets assigned expectations for revenue growth and activation targets.
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
  • Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years outbound sales experience
  • 4-year bachelors degree preferred, but not required
  • Experience in managing and developing high performance account based sales
  • Strong new business development, account management and time management skills
  • Sales leadership experience, selling to large national accounts and closing high-level deals.
  • Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills
  • Superior presentation, negotiation and closing skills are essential
  • Ability to multi-task
