Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour

Schedule: First Shift | 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Employment Type: Temporary | As needed

About the Role:

As a Hotel Cook, you'll take charge of food preparation for the restaurant, room service, employee cafeteria, and banquets using standardized recipes. From buffet setups to special event plating, you'll ensure every dish meets quality, safety, and presentation standards. You'll work collaboratively with kitchen staff while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with at least a couple of years of experience in hotel or commercial kitchen cooking who is comfortable using a wide variety of cooking techniques and working under pressure.

What You'll Do:



  • Prepare meals following standardized recipes for all hotel food service areas
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in all kitchen and storage areas
  • Cook using methods including sauteing, roasting, poaching, deep-frying, charbroiling, and more
  • Set up and break down buffet lines and food stations efficiently
  • Monitor and maintain food quality, freshness, and inventory control
  • Support banquet service and assist with employee meal preparation as scheduled
  • Practice safe food handling and fire safety procedures
  • Work as part of a team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment



What You Bring:



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A couple of years of experience in a commercial or hotel kitchen
  • Solid knowledge of herbs, spices, and quality food standards
  • Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work on your feet for long periods and lift 45 pounds
  • Composure under pressure and a passion for excellent service
