Position Summary The Revenue Management team is responsible for maximizing ticket revenue on every flight, every day, within the JetBlue route network. The group is comprised of two teams-Yield Management and Pricing-that work closely together to ensure that JetBlue is selling the optimal number of tickets across the spectrum of prices available based on customer demand. The Manager of Revenue Management (Yield Management) and their team are responsible for managing the revenue for a basket of JetBlue markets within a geographic scope. The Manager develops and implements yield management strategies designed to maximize revenue within that scope. In addition, the Manager mentors and directs the day-to-day activities of a team of Yield Management analysts, acting as the primary resource of knowledge and support using revenue management programs, tools, and datasets. Essential Responsibilities
- Develops and implements JetBlue's yield management strategies within a scope of JetBlue markets and is held responsible for revenue performance in those markets
- Works closely with the other Revenue Management managers to harmonize strategies across the department, and to ensure coordination between Yield Management and Pricing teams
- Mentors and guides a team of analysts
- Structures and directs analyses of passenger booking data to inform current and future yield management and pricing decisions
- Effectively communicates revenue performance and competitive market dynamics to leadership
- Serves as a liaison with IT and revenue management business partners to enhance and improve yield management systems and related practices
- Assists in the development and testing of new and current revenue management processes and systems
- Provides cross-functional support to other teams including Network Planning, Corporate Sales, Loyalty, JetBlue Vacations, and Marketing
- Engages in and manages other ad hoc projects and analyses as appropriate
- Takes a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least five (5) years of previous related work experience
- Four (4) years of revenue management experience
- Interest in airlines, aviation, or transportation systems
- Analytical or quantitative education/experience or aptitude
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Tableau
- Available for overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Operations Research
- Two (2) years of direct management and leadership experience
- Previous Airline experience
- Proficiency in database tools
- Experience in revenue management curriculum development and training

- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue's Safety Management System

- Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
- Uphold JetBlue's safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities
- The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $112,000.00 and $136,200.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
