Camera Vision Data Entry Specialist- FLEX/CONTRACT

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Camera Vision Data Entry Specialist. The Camera Vision Data Entry Specialist will work with cutting-edge Point-of-Sale technology in a grocery and convenience store environment.

They will be responsible for capturing images using a kiosk and camera vision technology in a retail store in Black Mountain, NC.

This role combines traditional data entry tasks with the use of advanced technology, ensuring efficient and accurate data management.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.00-$22.00 per hour. Compensation depends on the skills and experience of the candidate. (20-30 hours per week, 3-6 Month Contract Role)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry:
    • Use camera vision devices to capture detailed images of grocery and convenience store items.
  • Data Interpretation:
    • Utilize software tools to process and interpret data from captured images.
    • Input the interpreted data into designated digital systems or databases.
    • Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry.
  • Quality Control:
    • Conduct regular checks to ensure data integrity and correct any discrepancies.
    • Report any issues with camera vision equipment or software to technical support teams.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain records of data captured and entered, including any errors and correctionsmade.
    • Generate reports on data entry activities and performance metrics.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with team members (remote and in person) to streamline data entry processes and improve efficiency.
    • Provide feedback on camera vision technology and suggest process improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work between the hours of 8am-5pm
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift approximately 20 lbs
  • Preferred skill: Basic computer software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience working with Computer Vision is a plus
