Job Summary:

The Program Manager, Supply Chain Resiliency is responsible for identifying and mitigating risks within Endeavor Health's supply chain, ensuring its ability to withstand disruptions and maintain operations.The Program Manager, Supply Chain Resiliency seeks to prevent disruptions within the healthcare supply chain, ensuring the availability of critical medical supplies and equipment. This role is responsible for monitoring supply disruptions, analyzing inventory, managing key supplier fill rates, and representing Endeavor Health on industry collaboratives focused on resiliency. The Program Manager, Supply Chain Resiliency is responsible for developing strategies, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, and implementing solutions to enhance the resilience of the Endeavor Health supply chain. The resiliency manager facilitates cross-functional and high-level meetings about market events to quickly get feedback, triage, and make decisions to act in the best interest of Endeavor Health and our ability to care for patients.

What you will do:

  • Identify potential vulnerabilities and risks within the healthcare supply chain, including disruptions from natural disasters, pandemics, geopolitical events, supplier dependency, logistical challenges, or supplier issues.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and potential disruptions.
  • Develop and maintain risk assessment models and methodologies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain resilience, including diversification of suppliers, alternative sourcing, building safety stocks, and optimizing logistics.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
  • Identify and implement best practices for supply chain resilience.
  • Lead many cross-functional meetings, handling much of the project management related tasks, notes, agendas, invites, and pushes stakeholders and subject matter experts for timely and actionable updates. Facilities timely decision making to ensure Endeavor can continue patient care for affected areas.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., procurement, operations, category management, logistics, clinical departments) and external partners (e.g., suppliers, distributors) to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to assure reliable and timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
  • Communicate supply chain risks and mitigation strategies to relevant stakeholders and senior leaders within the supply chain.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices in supply chain resilience.
  • Participate in industry-wide initiatives and collaborations to improve supply chain resilience.
  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics, including inventory levels and demand forecasts, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular reviews of supply chain resilience strategies and plans.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree preferred
  • Certification: Preferred: Process improvement certifications include Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S Preferred: Supply chain certifications include APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), ISM CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CSCMP SC Pro Level 1-3, ISCEA CHSCM (Certified HealthCare Supply Chain Manager), and APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
  • Experience: 5+ years of work experience in healthcare Supply Chain is required
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
    • Talent in project management tools and organization skills
    • Solid ability to facilitate meetings
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in healthcare supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
    • Knowledge of healthcare supply chain risk management principles and best practices.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Understanding of various supply chain technologies and systems.
    • Experience with healthcare ERP systems (e.g., Workday).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands: Light work (exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and up to 10 lbs. of force frequently and or a small amount of force constantly to move objects)
