We are looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Financial Reporting team based in Tacoma, WA, reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting. In this hybrid role, you will prepare period-close GAAP reporting and perform technical accounting research that support our Accounting organization. You will regularly interact with other teams in Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Finance, and IT. This position requires proficiency in communicating, preparing key reporting deliverables, and supporting technical accounting research and consultation. You will also expand your knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, as you will be a key resource to our stakeholders in interpreting and assisting decision-making and reporting for the business. This is a hybrid role with Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Tacoma office.

What you'll do:



  • Prepare period close financial statements and disclosures
  • Prepare or support the Accounting team in preparing technical accounting specific journal entries
  • Assist in driving supporting documentation for year-end audit and other financial reporting requests
  • Communicate key reporting and accounting metrics on a regular cadence
  • Research, evaluate, and articulate key accounting concepts and policies to address changes to the business as well as new accounting pronouncements
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX guidelines, including, but not limited to, account reconciliations, control documentation, and journal entry support
  • Identify process improvements and support new accounting and reporting changes
  • Participate in company-wide initiatives and projects


What you'll bring:



  • One to three years of financial reporting or accounting experience
  • Big 4 experience and/or CPA eligibility preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and disclosure requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, keeping team members up to date on priorities, current tasks, issues, and completed work
  • Commitment to detail and quality and willingness to learn the business as well as challenging accounting concepts
  • Solid organization and time management skills with the ability to succinctly summarize and communicate upwards
  • Skilled with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience or familiarity with Accounting ERP and reporting software such as Oracle and Workiva a plus

  • Develop a strong understanding of Infoblox reporting and accounting close processes, systems, and structure
  • Gain a solid foundation of our reporting stakeholders
  • Be familiar with navigating and operating world-class enterprise software, including Workiva, Oracle, and Blackline


After about a year, you will...



  • Have a solid understanding of GAAP reporting requirements and other internally requested metrics
  • Become a point-person for key reporting processes while building strong relationships with various team members and business partners across the company
  • Contribute in a meaningful way to our high-priority initiatives
  • Have a solid foundation for the understanding and interpreting fluctuations in the company's financials

You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, education, and professional certifications. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position in Washington $80,900 - $100,000, plus corporate bonus.
