Salary: $85-$115k Annually POSITION SUMMARY The primary responsibility is to manage and oversee with hands on experience the repair and maintenance of all building automation, conveyance, building structures, power equipment fleet, DC controls, electrical, HVAC, motors, hydraulics and general maintenance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and manage the repair of all DC equipment and machinery including electrical/power/air/hydraulic/building HVAC/plumbing systems to ensure uninterrupted building flow and operational commits are maintained.
- Work with the operational team to ensure all preventive maintenance and repair activities are scheduled to maintain building safety and minimize facility "down time".
- Directly working with outside vendors/contractors to ensure their safety, structural integrity and mechanical performance is meeting company quality and safety standards, and all projects are on a schedule.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to all safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Responsible for maintaining supply inventory and or purchasing related to all mechanical, chemical and industrial parts need for repairs or preventative maintenance.
- Maintains departmental budget and expenditures ensuring spending and activities aligns to fiscal targets also including any capital projects expenses.
- Tracks work orders and or requests to document trends and or, identify reoccurring breakdowns or areas of deficiencies.
- Full awareness of the facilities WMS and controls systems to understand how the building flow and operational activities impact automation and conveyance along with analyzing performance to expectations.
- Having the ability to train others on equipment functionality and or, guide/lead other members through the diagnosis and repairs of machines, conveyance and or automation.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-Year College or technical school preferred; 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, leadership and on-site experience.
- Proven ability to professionally engaged with other site leaders and lead a small team including hiring, training, performance evaluations delegating/directing work along with managing time and attendance.
- Must have extensive experience in an automated environment where the WMS, Systems Controls, and automation are physically and systemically connected and communicating to complete operational activities.
- All-encompassing experience in warehouse repairs regarding conveyors, machinery, power equipment, air compression and the ability to work with building drawings and diagrams fluidly.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excell, MS office and MS word along with other similar PC based activities and or tools.
- Must be comfortable using PC and tools remotely to aid in problem solving, root cause analysis and systems testing/diagnosis while in the moment.
- Experienced in managing vendor relationships regarding re-occurring facility activities and or, projects with the ability to source for competitive pricing.
- Must show the proven capability to lead/manage multiple projects/tasks and, the ability to prioritize and delegate promptly.
- Highly organized and timebound regarding required documentation of audits, inspections, certifications and other safety related or regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to communicate in person/electronically in a professional manner also upholding the companies' values and leadership expectations.
- The capability to problem solve, maintain financial expectations and, calculate data using simple math while also explaining the results.
