Daikin Applied is seeking a talented Director, Digital Strategic Programs. The Director, Digital Strategic Programs is a key leadership role to drive key strategic programs by managing overall program schedule, dependencies, resources, scope and budget to ensure that programs are executed in deliver the superior outcomes as outlined by the end users. With minimal direction, this position will establish and implement program objectives, manage the project manager team, develop budgets, evaluate progress and provide regular status updates to the Executive Leadership Team with a focus on the company's strategic and the specific project's tactical goals.

The role has two major themes associated with it: While managing the overall strategic program portfolio, multi-year roadmap, and owning the unified digital plan, the role simultaneously owns the specific program and leads the execution of it. Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid or Remote

What you will do:

• Define, develop and manage the digital transformation plan and roadmap under the leadership of senior management
• Conceptualize and create operating processes for the digital organization such as engagement model, SDLC, governance model and external partner management processes
• Establish the strategic program management office standards, templates and deliverables
• Manage the strategic program portfolio and track its overall health
• Responsible for focusing these efforts to meet the company's strategic goals and the program's specific tactical goals
• Partner with supporting functions in procurement, finance and business to ensure success of those programs
• Lead change communication strategy and engagement to drive internal transformation awareness, feedback loop management and action plans
• Develop and execute on project prioritization framework
• Leverage program management tools and systems and ensure standardization of processes
• Prepare and present reports on the status of assigned programs including but not limited to the Executive Leadership Team

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical, Program Management, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with strategic program management, portfolio management and project management
• 6+ years of people leadership experience
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• 12+ years of hands-on experience with strategic program management, portfolio management and project management
• 8+ years of people leadership experience

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $126,000 - $215,000 (+ 25-30% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
