Are you a detail-driven accounting professional with a passion for payroll? Join our client's dynamic finance team as an Accountant, where your expertise will play a vital role in payroll management, financial reporting, and compliance.

Schedule: 8am - 5pm

Salary: $50,000 - $80,000/yr.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Accurately process bi-weekly/monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Manage journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and assist in month-end/year-end close
  • Handle payroll taxes, W-2s, 1099s, and other regulatory filings
  • Support benefit deductions and collaborate with HR on payroll-related matters
  • Generate and analyze payroll and accounting reports
  • Contribute to audits and recommend process improvements




Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of accounting experience with a focus on payroll
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and payroll regulations
  • Proficiency in tools like QuickBooks, ADP, Sage, or Paychex
  • Analytical, organized, and a team player with excellent communication skills




Preferred Qualifications:



  • 5 years preferred
  • CPA or progress toward CPA
  • Experience with multi-state payroll and ERP systems
