Staffmark
is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter/Designer to support architectural project development for a respected partner in Monroe, LA. In this role, you'll play an essential part in managing design documentation from concept through construction, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality project execution.

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Develop schematic designs and design development documents
  • Produce complete construction documents for pricing and issuance
  • Maintain and manage project timelines; communicate updates or concerns to the team
  • Update and coordinate BIM files throughout all project phases
  • Collaborate with consultants using BIM and 2D CAD software
  • Assist the Architect in shop drawing reviews
  • Conduct site visits and document existing conditions as needed



Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of drafting experience, ideally within a construction or architectural environment
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Office 365
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction documentation practices
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working collaboratively in project teams
  • Familiarity with local building codes and industry regulations
