GENERAL FUNCTION

The Manager of Assortment Execution partners with Central Merchandising and Group Store Planning teams to adapt strategy and deliver product plans to maximize sales and profit. They execute the merchandising strategies that maximize sales, margin, inventory turnover and customer satisfaction while continuing to optimize incorporating local market insights and feedback.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Partners with cross-functional teams to collaborate and execute a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities
  • Influences - with market and customer insights - the merchandising strategy development to support the needs of retail ideally with the inline product assortment
  • With effectiveness and speed, serve as the subject matter expert providing insights and analysis with local business stakeholders and global partners.
  • Project manage Product communications for brand field organization in collaboration with Global Retail team and Store Operations team


  • Collaborate across all levels of the organization and across all functions including Operations, Merchandising, Training, Marketing and Communications


Store Management:



  • Support Store Segmentation Annual store review and brand / facing strategy
  • Effective application of Product knowledge including Product attribute need identification, Local market trends, and hero brands
  • Develop product knowledge and trends material on new collections arriving in-store to be shared with brand partners + field teams
  • Actively attaining local Insights including Market activity and assortment, store, pricing, and feedback
  • Ability to support local market and brand initiatives with strong level of analysis and insights to global partners
  • Manage coordination of product and planning activities cross functionally


Analytical/admin:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years' work experience in retail planning, buying, or merchandising
  • Self-starter who is able to work in ambiguity using sound judgment and critical thinking/strategic skills to provide innovative solutions


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence/negotiate


  • Travel required visiting existing stores, new store openings, and cross-functioning offices
  • Proficient/advanced computer skills (Excel, SAP, merchandising and planning systems)
  • Excel in a highly matrixed organization

Pay Range: 102,340.00-149,630.00

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
