About the Job:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Solutions Architect with a specialization in Data Analytics technologies. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, building end to end cloud-based solutions using technologies like Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks etc. Your expertise in these platforms will be instrumental in guiding the organization's cloud data strategy, driving innovation, and delivering efficient and scalable data analytics solutions.

What You will do:

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using modern Data Analytics platforms to meet the organization's data analytics requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop architecture blueprints, solution designs, and technical specifications for various Data Analytics projects & use cases.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and security protocols
  • Evaluate existing systems and compute environment, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend strategies to optimize performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency
  • Conduct proof-of-concept projects to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of new technologies and methodologies
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements to drive innovation and continuously improve the organization's cloud capabilities
  • Collaborate with vendors and other external partners to assess and select appropriate tools, platforms, and services for cloud-based data analytics solutions
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge sharing to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development

What You will need:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • 7+ Years of demonstrated experience as Solutions Architect specializing in data space.
  • Extensive experience as a Cloud solutions Architect, with a strong focus on technologies like Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake and Databricks
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based data analytics solutions using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory and Databricks
  • Proficiency in cloud architecture and services, including Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory, Power BI and Azure Functions
  • Deep understanding of MPP architecture and optimization techniques.
  • Strong understanding of big data technologies, data warehousing concepts, and data integration patterns
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices like Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code concepts
  • Experience in implementing data governance, security, and compliance measures in a cloud environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, are highly desirable
  • Experience with other Cloud services like AWS is a plus.
  • Experience with Master Data Management is a plus.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 106,000 USD - 145,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
