DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY To assist Quality, Research and Development (R&D), and Engineering groups to improve the overall quality of both products and processes through strong problem-solving and analytical skills RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES *Provide support and guidance to Quality, Production, and Engineering *Ensure the execution of company quality, goals, process and/or business improvement efforts for Contract Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) quality including finished device audits, Voice of the Customer (VOC) Analysis, and warranty parts return analysis to meet Pride's and the Food & Drug Administration's (FDA) quality system requirements *Conduct evaluations of returned components and finished devices and provide findings and trending analysis to the Continuous Improvement initiative *Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Distribution Centers (DC's) and China Quality Team to identify issues as well as brainstorm ways to advance the company *Update management of OEM compliance to requirements through weekly/monthly performance ratings, and report findings to the organization *Act as a liaison between Quality and R&D to measure and improve performance, and reduce returns and customer complaints through effective root cause analysis and trending reports for returned product evaluations *Prepare and maintain test data for review and evaluation, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards and/or specifications *Work closely with OEM manufacturers to improve product quality and process controls while assisting them to identify permanent corrective actions to all non-conformities that occur in process or warranty *Develop rework processes and procedures used for execution in production, receiving inspection, and distribution center environments *Provide daily, weekly, and monthly quality summary reports as necessary *Conduct annual audits of internal/external facilities and suppliers *Act as the safety representative for Quality *Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management *Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training *Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment *Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations *Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary REQUIRED SKILLS *Must be a team player, friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and honest *Must be a change agent and champion for continuous quality improvement Must have the ability to: *Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment *Plan, develop, and execute strategic quality initiatives *Foster cross-functional relationships that promote cooperation and consensus decision making *Carry out duties with utmost integrity *Travel up to 10% of the time internationally as business needs dictate *Lift/push/pull 40lbs.
