Penn United Technologies is currently seeking self-motivated and reliable candidates for a full-time Material Handler position within our Production department. This critical role is responsible for the safe and efficient organization, storage, and transportation of materials essential to our manufacturing operations.

As a Material Handler, you will support daily production activities by locating, organizing, and moving materials throughout the facility. You will ensure materials are handled and stored safely, maintain a clean and orderly work environment, and collaborate closely with production teams to help meet operational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Operate fork truck to move product within company facilities
• Assist team leaders in locating raw stock, reeling components and boxes
• Position raw stock, reeling components and boxes in the warehouse
• Responsible for the overall orderly set-up of the warehouse
• Responsible for the orderly storage and segregation of all scrap in the
  
  appropriate location until sold
• Provide for the safety and security of the warehouse
• Perform inventory transactions to keep inventory levels updated
• Organize material for staging work
• Deliver all necessary raw stock to the proper locations before stock runs out

Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating a fork lift preferred. Must be willing to earn fork lift certification
• Excellent organization skills and attention to accuracy
• Self-motivated, able to work effectively under pressure
• Good computer skills
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, driving fork truck, frequent bending, ability to lift 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Shift availability: daylight
