This role will assist in the design and administration of Wendy's compensation programs, including base pay and incentive programs. This role will partner across areas of Human Resources and help ensure that compensation programs are both effectively and consistently applied across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary point of contact for restaurant-level Compensation programs globally.
  • Analyze data, develop cost estimates, recommend, and implement compensation programs to enhance restaurant performance and support employees. Build strong partnership with field HR Business partners and other cross-functional teams (finance, talent, operations) to understand needs and answer policy questions. Monitor legislative updates to keep teams informed of upcoming regulatory changes. Evaluate programs and recommend opportunities for improvement in partnership with manager.
  • Administer restaurant-level compensation programs. Process minimum wage, merit, and incentive programs on a regular basis. Ensure all stakeholders have clear understanding of key milestones within each process. Partner with manager to develop employee communications to enhance understanding of each program.
  • Evaluate new or modified jobs for designated corporate functions. In partnership with HRBPs and/or hiring managers, review job profiles and external benchmarking data to determine internal job levels. Participate in external job and salary surveys on behalf of Wendy's to support the benchmarking process.
  • Administer global severance program. Create documents, track changes, and inform cross-functional team of relevant details.

What we expect from you
  • Bachelors degree in human resources management, business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in compensation or human resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point). Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
  • Prior experience with compensation program administration.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build partnerships across functions.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. * The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
