Job Summary

Provides recruitment support and customer service for prospective domestic and international students, families, school counselors, advisors, and others. Conducts in-person meetings with students, parents, school officials and others who visit the university. Responds to email and other written correspondence using the CRM and ancillary business tools. Works with university partners to ensure quality presentations are delivered to university guests either in person or via online tools. Works closely with offices to provide
accurate information to students regarding immigration, student visa and other state and federal processes.

  • Works as an on-site recruitment officer for information
  • sessions, admissions presentations, workshops, student meetings, and counselor relationship building. These events
  • may take place in person or through virtual channels.
  • Serves as point of contact for a specific recruitment territory or student population, this includes email communication, SalesForce casework, LiveChat/WhatsApp responses and all relevant outreach.
  • Assists the Office of Admissions with advising and counseling procedures for degree-seeking students. Provides advise to constituents regarding student visa types, immigration policy, and other matters regarding study in the US and Florida.
  • Serves as point of contact between Admissions and OneStop department specifically regarding escalated situations and assistance as needed. Reports to the Assistant/Associate Director and ultimately supports the admissions and enrollment goals of the university.
  • Participates in all on-campus recruitment events including; Open Houses, Admitted Student Days, and additional ad-hoc events.
  • Remains up to date on educational practices and the latest information on academic policy regarding undergraduate admissions standards., ethics, state rules, national and international policy as it relates to college admissions.
  • Serves as an University card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University credit card policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and some related experience.

  • Experience working in a customer service environment.
  • Experience with university admissions process.
  • Ability to present in a large group setting.
  • Ability to analyze data and learn new technology.
