Cape Fox Mission Systems is seeking an experienced Jenkins Administrator to support a government customer. Join the Cape Fox team! This position is contingent upon award.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at:$135,000 - $150,000.

The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.

Duties and responsibilities include:



  • Create and manage Jenkins jobs and pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software applications


  • Configure build jobs and pipelines with appropriate parameters, scripts, and dependencies.


  • Schedule and trigger build jobs and pipelines manually or automatically


  • Monitor the execution of build jobs and pipelines and identify and troubleshoot any errors or failures


  • Monitor the overall health and performance of the Jenkins server and platform


  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues with Jenkins jobs, pipelines, plugins, or extensions


  • Perform regular backups of the Jenkins server and configuration data


  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for the Jenkins platform


  • Install, update, and manage Jenkins plugins and extensions to meet specific needs


  • Configure appropriate security settings for Jenkins, including user access control and authentication


  • Manage user groups and permissions to ensure secure access to Jenkins resources


  • Automate tasks using Jenkins features and scripting languages


  • Optimize Jenkins performance for scalability and efficiency


  • Provide user support and training for Jenkins users


  • Stay up to date with the latest Jenkins features and best practices


  • Document best practices


  • Define and enforce policies and procedures for the use of Jenkins


  • Establish standards for the creation and execution of build jobs and pipelines
