Beaman Library Student Worker

Assists with service desk responsibilities, customer service duties, and collection maintenance.

Student assistants staff the circulation and reference service desks.

Circulation duties include but are not limited to checking in and out library items, managing study room keys, assisting with patron item and reserve requests, sorting and shelving books, managing patron fines and payments, and answering general customer service questions in person and over the phone.

Reference duties include but are not limited to answering questions about library resources and items in person and over the phone, assisting with copier and printer requests, and assisting with Interlibrary Loans.

Things to note:

-This position primarily works evenings and nights (between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm). Please only apply if your availability is the same.

-Reliable transportation is required for those living off campus.

May be Federal Work Study eligible.
