Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy intern to join our IT Infrastructure team. This hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience working with virtual machines, Linux servers, and Nutanix environments. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing our IT infrastructure while learning from experienced professionals in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Responsibilities Assist in the provisioning, configuration, and management of virtual machines within a Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure. Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting on Linux servers. Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization or improvement. Collaborate with team members to deploy and maintain IT infrastructure solutions. Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal use. Participate in projects involving system migrations, upgrades, and new technology implementations. Respond to and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the IT support team. Gain exposure to automation and scripting for infrastructure management tasks. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program related to the role, entering their senior year, or recent graduates (undergraduate or master's level). Currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of virtualization concepts and platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix). Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line operations. Interest in learning about IT infrastructure and systems management. Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
