ChampionX is seeking a motivated Digital Support / Sustenance Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the maintenance and continuous improvement of hardwareand softwareproducts critical to our customers' success. You will gain hands-on experienceworking with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, product management, and customer support to resolve product issues, sustain product performance, and drive long-term product reliability. You will also learn to work within Agile development environmentsusing frameworks like Scrumto deliver support and improvement initiatives iteratively and efficiently. What you will do:

Assist in the troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolvinghardware and software issues reported by internal teams and customers. -
Support root cause investigationsfor product failures and contribute to corrective action plans. -
Collaborate with senior engineers to identify, validate, and implement design and process improvements. -
Develop or update technical documentation, such as troubleshooting guides, support manuals, engineering change orders (ECOs), and knowledge base articles. -
Perform software/firmware testingand hardware validationfor product fixes or upgrades. -
Support the team in tracking, prioritizing, and resolvingbug reports, service requests, and change requests using Agile and Scrum practices. -
Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectivesto align with project goals and timelines. -
Participate in sustaining engineering projectsto improve product stability, serviceability, and customer satisfaction. -
Assist with deployment testingand verification of software patches, firmware updates, and hardware modifications. -
Work closely with customer support, quality, and engineering teams to ensure seamless hand-off of support casesand improvements.
Preferred Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degreein Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. -
Strong problem-solving skillsand an interest in learning about troubleshooting techniques for integrated hardware and software products. -
Familiarity with debugging tools, hardware testing equipment(e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes), and/or software development environments. -
A basicunderstanding of embedded systems, IoT devices, or cloud-connected platformsis a plus. -
Exposure to Agile methodologiesand Scrum frameworksis highly desirable. -
Knowledge of Linux, Windows, or firmware systemsis an advantage. -
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document findings clearly and professionally. -
Ability to work collaborativelyin a fast-paced, cross-functional, Agile team environment.
