ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:
As a member of the senior equipment maintenance staff, you will be responsible for one or more tool sets within the wafer fab.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement programs to sustain fab related equipment.
- Working closely with process engineering to develop equipment specifications for next generation products as well as improving current fab equipment.
- Work closely with OEM in design and development of new equipment. Authoring detailed OEM requirements specifications.
- Develop and maintain all necessary equipment documentation, work instruction, schematics, and troubleshooting flow charts, ect..
- In supporting of equipment running 24/7 manufacturing environment. Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting a wide range of wafer fab equipment, this film, lithography, plating, lap, and polish
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
:
- Associate degree in engineering plus 3 years related applicable industry or related experience. A sound technical basis in mechanical,
- Automation, sputtering, vacuum systems, plating and wet process
- Equipment. Project management skills in a matrix environment
- Commitment to meeting schedules is required. Bachelor's degree in engineering would be a plus
- Must have hands on experience in 3 of the following:
- High vacuum systems and sputtering
- Low vacuum and dry etch systems
- Photolithography, photoresist coaters and non-contact aligners
- Electroplating, fabrication, repair cathodes and anodes
- CMP, lapping, grinding, polishing systems, wafer dicing
- Clean room facilities, di-water, CDA systems and nitrogen
- Ability to work overtime
- Prioritizing and scheduling work completion
- Work independently and in a team environment to resolve maintenance issues Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with individuals contacted in the course of work
- Perform preventive, unscheduled, and routine technical servicing of semiconductor production and support equipment.
- Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Assist in analyzing and resolving recurring maintenance problems.
- Work on activities to develop/improve existing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems, working from procedures, schematics, sketches, drawings, and diagrams.
- Assist in analyzing and resolving equipment-related failures. Interface and direct vendor support to resolve equipment specific issues.
- Identify deficiency and suggest and/or implement permanent solutions to semiconductor equipment issues.
- Mechanical, exhaust and pneumatic control applications
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical repairs of cleanroom semiconductor related equipment.
- High purity gas welding
- Fabrication and wet bench modifications
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Preventative maintenance programs and techniques
- Di-water systems
- CDA, compressed dry air system
- Hazardous waste treatment plant
- Hazardous waste/chemical handling
- Nitrogen gas storage systems
- Install semiconductor equipment facilities, exhaust, gas lines, drain lines
The pay range for this role in Baldwin Park, CA is between $27.90 and $
36.59
. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
