Overview
As part of the Agency of Digital Services' IT Team supporting the Department of Children & Families (DCF) within the Agency of Human Services, this IT System Developer I will:

This is the first level of five in the Systems Developer series. The position is primarily responsible for analysis, design, implementation and maintenance of new or existing software applications within a State of Vermont organization. Incumbents are responsible for programming, database administration, and systems analysis work at an entry level for a department or agency of Vermont State Government where, because of the structure of assignments, decision making and complexity are limited to carrying out established work processes and operations. Duties may involve analysis, development, design, construction, testing, maintenance, implementation and enhancements of programs and systems. This level is an entry level Systems Developer position. Work is performed under the close supervision of a higher level Systems Developer. Environmental Factors
Duties are generally performed in a standard office setting. Some work outside of regular work schedule may be required. Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in computer science or college-level coursework that includes 15 computer science credits OR Two (2) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration. Preferred Qualifications
