What you'll do:

The Loan Operations Team Lead - Callback team is responsible for overseeing daily operations related to the quality control (Callback) team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. This role provides leadership, training, and support to staff while collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless quality control review. The quality control (Callback) team is responsible for reviewing all loan boardings, loan documents, file maintenance, transactions and core system changes completed by the Loan Operations team for various core systems.
  • Supervise, support and participate in the daily activities of the department
  • Act as a point of contact and escalation for complex or high-risk transactions
  • Using a metric-based system, monitor team performance and ensure productivity and quality standards are met
  • Coordinate training and cross-training of team members to ensure consistent work is completed
  • Assist with audits and examinations, providing requested documentation and responses
  • Lead or participate in department projects and system implementations as needed
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

What you'll need:

  • 8+ years of related experience in Loan Administration, Lending and/or Deposit Sales or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Knowledge of a variety of complex loan types.
  • Proficient in multi-tasking in team oriented environment and focused on the highest standards of client service.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Knowledge of loan products, including Credit Agreements, Guarantees, and Letters of Credit, preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $101,245.00 - $125,065.00 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
