    Who You Are...

    As Director of Integration - Operational Finance, you will lead the execution of operational finance integration during mergers and acquisitions (M&A), blending finance expertise with operational knowledge. Serving as the on-site leader and primary point of contact for the post-acquisition period, this role oversees financial validation, ERP transition, and training on project financial controls to align operations with Limbach's standards and vision. The Director's focus is to establish efficient financial processes before transitioning oversight to the Regional Finance Director, ensuring long-term stability as they move to the next acquisition.

    Some examples of the work you might do includes:



    • Lead the financial integration process, coordinating with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, talent development, and other subject matter experts.
    • Plan, schedule and lead integration team meetings with key stake holders where issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Keeping all stakeholders up to date on progress, issues and timelines.
    • Ensure the acquired company's financial and operational processes align with Limbach's standards including full compliance with all SOX controls.
    • Assist with pre-acquisition due diligence including the creation of financial forecasts.
    • Validate and reconcile post conversion data to ensure accuracy of all data imported into the Viewpoint ERP system
    • Serve as the on-site integration leader, guiding and mentoring new team members through the adoption of Limbach software, policies, processes and procedures.
    • Provide hands-on training on operational processes and financial responsibilities related to project management.
    • Ensure critical accounting functions transition with minimal impact by proactively planning and collaborating with internal shared services and payroll teams.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize current and future integrations
    • Partner with Regional Manager to develop post-acquisition financial models, plans, and forecasts to measure integration success.
    • Work with the Regional Finance Team to ensure a successful handoff to the region.


    What You Need...



    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent of combination of education and experience.
    • 5 or more years of manager or director level experience in financial operations, M&A, or financial integration roles, preferable in the construction or related industries.
    • Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and financial reporting standards.
    • Outstanding listening skills and empathy.
    • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with keen attention to details.
    • Strong financial expertise in the areas of planning, gross profit redemption, overhead control, and ROI.
    • Must have a valid driver's license.
    • Must have a driving record compliant with the Company's policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the Company.
    • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.

    Work Environment:



    • This position operates in a professional office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, printers, and scanners.
    • Work duties may also necessitate visits to/walk throughs of local job sites, which means intermittent exposure to outside weather and conditions/hazards typically associated with a construction site.


    Physical Demands:



    • In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
    • This is considered a sedentary position, which means possible exertion up to ten (10) pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
