BH Link Nurse Prescriber - PER DIEM

Location: East Providence, RI

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Provide psychiatric assessments and medication prescribing services to clients of the BH Link.
• Prescriber will coordinate client care services as a member of the BH Link treatment team.
• Duties also include providing bridge medications for clients in need of short-term prescriptions; consulting with MA clinicians and RN's regarding client dispositions; and coordinating services with external providers and/or referring organizations.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:

NP or APRN

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• To provide on-site consultation and prescribing services
• Provide daily consultation to other members of the BH Link clinical team
• Coordinate care and discharge planning with referral agencies
• Provide bridge prescriptions per program protocols
• To assist with psychiatric hospitalizations when needed
• To attend meetings with BH Link administrative team to discuss client care issues and participate in program development initiatives.
• Timely documentation of psychiatric assessments and progress notes per agency protocols
