Senior Data Architect

Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust data architecture solutions across multiple environments, including Data Warehousing, Operational Data Stores (ODS), and ETL/Data Management systems. This expert-level role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, DBAs, ETL developers, and data governance teams to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.
The ideal candidate will also play a key role in shaping and executing Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM) strategies, while mentoring team members and promoting best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for Data Governance and Master Data Management
- Maintain and ensure accessibility of Data Dictionaries, Data Lineage, and Standardization Definitions
- Collaborate with ETL, replication, and DBA teams to optimize data transformation and movement strategies
- Partner with support teams to implement proactive support methodologies for data operations
- Mentor Data Architects and Analysts on best practices in database design and data management
- Contribute to architectural planning for Data Warehousing, ODS, and ETL/Data Management initiatives
- Align data architecture strategies with business goals and enterprise architecture standards
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for MDM implementation, including tool selection and deployment
- Document architectural rules and ensure adherence to MDM best practices
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, including OLTP, Data Warehousing, and Big Data environments
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Master Data Management (MDM)
- 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, with a strong understanding of industry best practices
- Deep knowledge of data movement and processing technologies, including Middleware, ETL, APIs, and OLAP
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated and collaborative, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing
Estimated Min Rate: $61.60
Estimated Max Rate: $88.00
